The panels are supplied in their original form, which is exactly as they come off the metal rolling mill and, therefore, have not been subjected to any degreasing process.
EspanColor S.L. considers that each laboratory has its own requirements for degreasing or cleaning.
Points 3.3 and 3.4 of the ISO 1514 standard specify the systems for cleaning prior to application of any coating. We understand that these procedures should be performed immediately before use in order to avoid any oxidation.

Packaging: The metal panels are supplied in cardboard boxes.

We offer a range of ready-to-use degreased panels to minimises the time employed by laboratory staff in completing these tasks.
Our manufacturing process enables us to automatically clean the panels and eliminate any traces of grease from the surface with minimum manual handling.
The panels are handled using gloves, and then only by touching the edges, to minimise all types of marks (fingerprints, etc.).

Packaging: The degreased panels are packed in groups of 25 or 50 units, depending on their size or thickness, wrapped in rust inhibiting paper, and packed in cardboard boxes.
This system guarantees an extended storage time for this type of panel.

On any kind of metals we can polished one or two faces to get more quality in the panels surface.

We can Clean one or two faces of our panels with different abrasives that you require under UNE EN-ISO 8501-1 norms.

Pre-treatment of cleaning, Phosphatization or chromating (without chrome IV, under ISO norms).
